About Gk3gender
Welcome to the GK3 Gender List!
In support of GK3, the International Taskforce on Women and ICT has developed a web-based database of gender experts within a broad range of technical fields relating to three GK3 theme areas. The purpose of the database is to allow panel organizers and moderators to identify panelists and speakers for their GK3 events.
A diversity of perspectives and voices from NGOs, academe, grassroots, governments, businesses, media, and international organizations will be represented as a database of experts representing gender advocates, gender experts, and women leaders who are able to represent diverse economies, cultures, practices, and perspectives in ICT4D. Encourage your colleagues to go to the ITF Expert Database at http://taskforce.wigsat.org to register.
The ITF intends to continue this database as an ongoing international resource after GK3. The site is currently hosted by WIGSAT - Women, Knowledge, Technology on behalf of the International Taskforce on Women and ICT.
